I think a history of Mormon conversion might be quite fruitful in what it reveals. While this post and the subsequent discussion has discussed early Mormonism and modern Mormonism, the intervening 100+ years deserve attention, too. How the conversions of second generation Mormons differed from first, for example. Or what different aspects of Mormonism receive the most attention in gaining a testimony of the Mormon gospel (i.e. the Book of Mormon, prophets, restored priesthood, or the Mormon concept of Zion).</description>
