Roberts makes some really off the wall comments like “For Mormons, Pioneer Day ranks above Christmas”.
He also relies heavily on Krakhauer and Brodie.

David Roberts book on the ‘56 handcart migration was interesting but it appears Roberts entire intent was to place blame squarely on someones shoulders …..and in this book his gun is aimed directly at BY.
